Symmetry

Symmetry can be defined simply as “balanced proportions.” Symmetry also applies to the motion of a geometric figure. There are four such operations of symmetry: Translation, Rotation, Reflection, and Glide-Reflection. When applied singly and in combination, each operation produces a different result.
