October Fields
“October Fields” was submitted by Paula. She used block 2-2-2-2 as a background in a monochromatic challenge quilt. The quilt measures 51″ x 51″, and is paper pieced (except for the cattail applique, that is).
I particularly like the contrasts in the tessellated shapes, both in shades and textures. Who says one color is boring??
Very, very nice! I really like the idea of using the tessellation pattern as a background.
